About the Vermont Castings Defiant Wood Heater
The Vermont Castings Defiant is a premium cast iron freestanding wood heater built for large Australian homes, combining traditional craftsmanship with practical high-capacity heating.
Designed to heat areas up to 370 m², the Defiant offers burn times of up to 20 hours, thermostatically controlled combustion and convenient top-loading technology. Its large 90 litre firebox accepts logs up to 500 mm long, while the cast iron griddle top provides a useful cooking surface.
Choose Classic Black with either Classic or Transition doors, or premium Bordeaux and Twilight enamel finishes with Classic doors. Optional warming shelves, fan, outside-air adapter and other accessories are available separately.
