About the Quadra-Fire Expedition 2 Wood Insert
The Quadra-Fire Expedition 2 Wood Insert is a larger inbuilt wood heater designed to transform a suitable existing fireplace into an efficient slow-combustion heating solution.
Powered by Quadra-Fire’s patented Four-Point Burn System and Automatic Combustion Control (ACC), the Expedition 2 combines easy start-up with extended, consistent heat. It heats up to 240 m², offers burn times of up to 8 hours and includes a thermostatically controlled variable-speed fan.
The Expedition 2 can be installed into an existing brickwork chimney or used in a new-build application with the optional zero-clearance case. Standard, made-to-measure and cast surround options are available separately to suit different fireplace openings.
