About the Dovre 640WD Freestanding Wood Heater
The Dovre 640WD is a traditional freestanding wood heater made from premium-grade cast iron, combining classic European styling with practical heating performance for Australian homes. Its large front window provides a generous view of the fire, while the side-loading door makes adding larger logs convenient.
Designed for areas up to approximately 200m², the Australian-certified 640WD delivers a maximum average heat output of 7.1kW with 67% overall average efficiency. A direct outside-air connection, ash tray and top or rear flue connection make it a versatile option for both traditional and contemporary installations.
The 640WD is an excellent choice for homeowners wanting the durability and radiant warmth of cast iron with the character of a classic freestanding wood fire.
